In April...These statistics resonate with my family. In April, my mother suddenly became very ill with unexplained intestinal trouble. To put it mildly, she was turning inside out, and a whole team of "specialists" as well as her personal physician could not determine the cause. I began researching the medicines she had been prescribed in the 6 months prior to onset of this illness, and discovered she had been taking a once a month poison called "Boniva" and it was killing her. Not one physician would acknowledge that was the cause, but she stopped taking it, and after much prayer and good nutrition and rest, she is much better. I doubt she will ever be completely well again, as this took away an enormous chunk of her energy just to survive. The further travesty is that the drug was completely uneccessary. Complaints about this drug from many vicims, if they had been taken into account, would have alerted every doctor to the cause of her plight. Big pharmaceuticals, and Sally Fields, can disappear and we'd all be better off. Yes, I'm angry. Thank you for listening.Lyndahttp://family-wise.comnoreply@blogger.com
