As much as my husband and I love to watch birds, we never attended a birding festival. When I read that West Virginia was having a Birding and Nature Festival it sounded like the thing to do. I love the forests of WV so it would be a good excuse to travel to our neighboring state for a good reason. It was an enjoyable experience.
