One of the places we visited on the Singapore trip was the Jurong Bird Park.

Marabou Stork Doing His Mating Dance

This is a Marabou Stork doing his mating dance. These guys are huge! They're large, long-legged, long-necked wading birds with a long, bare throat sac.

Considering they grow to approximately 59 inches (150 cm), it's quite an impressive sight. They weigh up to 20 pounds (9 kg) and feed on small mammals, fish, carrion, flamingos, baby crocodiles and insects.

They are found in marshes, fields and savannas throughout Africa and in some parts of Asia and Europe.
