There are a lot of reasons to be concerned for our water supply: Population growth means more people are using water, climate change continues to nudge evaporation rates higher, doubts and floods keep intensifying, and humans keep polluting the small amount of water that's left.

While the challenges we face are real, this means that our daily actions have bigger impacts, according to research from Environmental Magazine.
