A Weed to Keep in Your Garden

Horseweed is a plant that would normally be pulled up as a weed, but with all its beneficial properties, you might want to consider leaving some in at least one area of your yard to make your gardening chores less chemically-intensive.

The more bug control we have provided by nature, the better our water supply and less chemicals on the ground for our children and pets ... and less exposure for us while herbicides are being applied.

Sometimes we need to leave perfection out of the garden and help to keep our world a bit less toxic.

Nice blog. I just got a bunch of seeds and bulbs and need to weed the flower bed so I can plant them.
