When you receive this we'll be on our way back from a spiritual retreat in Lithia, FL. We'll be stopping at natural areas and gardens to break up the highway time. I guess one of the reasons I love nice weather is that I can snap photos to my endless delight and walk forever more in the cool of the woods.
Yes, I will have photo links in the next issue for those who love to virtual travel. I do think of y'all when I travel. It makes me smile to know I have company with me because we both will be experiencing the same place even if it's only with photographs. Photos are a warming delight to me in the winter months.
Maybe you haven't seen some of the recent videos of our backyard wildlife habitat. One day when the birds were singing loudly, I filmed the woods a bit from the deck so the sound recorder could pick them up. I'm really loving these Springtime delights.
The Pileated Woodpeckers are ripping up our tree stumps placed around the property (from a tree that a neighbor cut down a couple years ago). They are huge birds and those long powerful bills can really rip off the bark in seconds flat and then that tongue begins licking up the bugs beneath it. Springtime Blessings and Hugs,
Donna
