Scripture Cards - Part Three

The explanation and beginning of the Scripture Cards can be found here.

The persistent cry of those seeking deliverance must not be for deliverance alone, but also for the Holy Spirit to reveal anything in my life that's preventing deliverance from taking place. We've discovered over and over again that the initial healing needed isn't deliverance, but healing of the emotional issues. When those things have been dealt with, deliverance is often simple and extremely effective. (Ellel Ministries)

God is able to make all grace abound toward you. That you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8) Grace gives us the power to go beyond our own ability.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the Truth. It always protects, always hopes, always trusts, always perseveres. (I Corinthians 13:4-7 abbreviated)

Faith give us an anchor in a raging sea, calm in the midst of chaos, vision to know right from wrong, and the courage to express it. (Bookmark)

Direct our footsteps according to Your Word. (Psalm 119:133) My soul languishes for your salvation; I hope in Your Word. My eyes fail watching for Your promise. (Psalm 119:81-82) In Your steadfast love, spare my life so that I may keep the decrees of Your mouth. (Psalm 119:88)

Blessed be the Lord, for He has heard the sound of my pleadings. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him. (Psalm 28:6-7) I believe I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)

I shall lift up my face without spot. I am steadfast and do not fear. I have forgotten my misery. My age is clearer than the noon day. I shine forth as the morning. (Job)

The Lord watches over me. The Lord is the shade at my right hand; the sun will not harm me by day. The Lord will keep me from all harm. He will watch over my life. (Psalm 121:5) The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? (Psalm 27:1)

Have faith in God. Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, 'Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea,' and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says. What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:23-24)

Happy are those who consider the poor. The Lord sustains them in their sickbed, in their illness You heal all their infirmities. (Psalm 41:1-3)

O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim. You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, O Lord, and see; hear all the words of Satan, which he has sent to mock the Living God. (Isaiah 37:16) O Lord, my God, save us from his hand, so that all nations of the earth may know that You alone are God and Lord of all. (vs. 20)

I cry for help until morning; like a lion he breaks all my bones; from day to night you bring me to an end. O lord, I am oppressed: be my security. Oh, restore me to health and make me live. Surely it was for my welfare that I had great bitterness; but You have held back my life from the pit of destruction, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back. Death cannot praise You nor hope for Your faithfulness. (Isaiah 38:13 ... 18)

I will pour My Spirit into your descendants, and My blessing on your children. (Isaiah 44:3)

I have chosen you and will not reject you. Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand ... those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isaiah 41:9-13)

The Spirit of God has made me, the breath of the Almight gives me life. (Job. 33:4) I was designed and created on purpose for God's pleasure. He knew me before the foundation of the world.
