Declawing Cats

If you or anybody you know is considering declawing a cat, please read this and pass it on to others who love cats. Declawing aamputates the cat's toes.

We've had seven (7) cats over the years and never had a problem with scratching. They were trained to use a scratching post. Scratching fulfills an important need for them. I've also learned how to trim nails and do that on a regular basis so they can be enjoyed while hugging and playing.

There's also a humane alternative to declawing at SoftPaws.com. Get informed and read the various articles about this subject. Declawing actual amputates the cat's toes. Read the entire article.
