Jeffersonian Thanksgiving Festival-Charlottesville, VA

The festival involves a parade, period music, carriage rides, dancing, thanksgiving dinner, and more. Costumed professional and amateur living historians and dramatic artists portray famous people from the past who lived or visited the area. Historical Courthouse Square has a battle reenactment and period people.

Many of these people will be interpretive by using their own original writings, either in short dramatic discussions and meetings, or in informal conversations as you meet them roaming about the downtown mall.
